Moonlight Ballet is seeking professional dancers for ongoing projects.

Paid performance opportunities available, dancers must reside in or near the Greater Toronto area.

To apply:

Qualifications:
- advanced classical ballet technique including advanced pointe work and/or partnering
- ability to quickly learn classical and neoclassical style choreography
- attention to detail
- passion for expressive performance and telling stories through dance
- experience in Vaganova style is an asset
- ability to collaborate, work well with others and contribute to a positive team dynamic is required
- must live in or near the GTA and be able to attend rehearsals in Toronto

✨ We are also seeking pre-professional dancers interested in understudying Moonlight Ballet repertoire.

We look very forward to meeting new dancers interested in being a part of Moonlight Ballet's mission to create new stories and new works in the classical and neoclassical ballet vocabulary and to connect people through art.

Moonlight Ballet is Toronto's Newest Ballet Company founded in 2023 to bring together talented ballet artists with a passion for expressive performance and creating new works in the classical and neoclassical ballet vocabulary. Our purpose is to bring together those who desire to connect through art and to share new stories through the magical language of ballet with as many new people and seasoned ballet-lovers as possible.

We also bring ballet as event entertainment to private and public events under our event entertainment branch @balletreveries by Moonlight Ballet. We look forward to bringing ballet to your stage!

We were honoured to perform Masquerade at @torontodragonfestival for this incredible audience at the outdoor stage at @nathanphillipssquare and this is one of the works we will be performing at @uoft_festivalofdance on Oct. 14th!

🌕✨🎭 Moonlight Ballet will perform "Masquerade" as part of the 8:00pm Variety Live Show on the Main Stage!
The approximate time of our performance is 8:25pm.

🌕✨ You can also catch @alenaballerina performing "Courtyard Nocturne" earlier in the day during the 1pm "Show on the Water".
Her performance will be at approximately 1:40pm.

📍Location: Nathan Phillips Square

Admission is FREE!

Exactly one week after our momentous premiere, we are so grateful and still so impacted by the incredible response to Moonlight Soirée! We would like to invite you all to look at the sky tonight to witness the Rare Blue Supermoon in the sky!

It will be at its biggest and brightest tonight, Aug. 30th at 9:36pm EST! 🌕

We are so lucky to have not one but two supermoons in August, with this being the second one tonight, making it a Blue Supermoon!!! 💙 This couldn't be a more magical month to have officially premiered Moonlight Ballet, Toronto's Newest Ballet Company!

But for us at Moonlight Ballet, this feels like the 3rd supermoon of August, because Moonlight Soirée lit up our hearts with a light that continues to shine in us and lead us towards new dreams. Thank you, truly, everyone that supported the premiere in any way, for making this dream, that once felt completely impossible, come true! 💜🌕✨

We will be sharing more about the recent premiere and about our upcoming performance at Dragon Festival this Saturday, September 2nd, very soon!
